The short version. These terms cover this website. They do not cover our apps. Each app has its own terms, which is where anything about accounts, subscriptions and refunds lives.

These terms

This website, cliostudiosinc.com, is operated by Clio Studios, Inc., a corporation registered in the State of California. By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

What this site is

It is an information page about the studio and what it is working on. Nothing here is an offer to sell anything, a promise that any product described will be released, or a commitment to a release date. Products in development change, and some do not ship at all.

Our apps are covered separately

Each app has its own terms and its own privacy policy, because each app does something different.

Where an app is bought or subscribed to through the App Store, that purchase is also governed by Apple's terms, and Apple handles billing and refunds.

Using this site

Use it for its intended purpose. Do not attempt to break into it, disrupt it, scrape it at a volume that degrades it for anyone else, or use it to do anything unlawful.

Our content

The text, design, code, logos and marks on this site belong to Clio Studios, Inc. or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may read, link to and quote this site normally. You may not copy the design wholesale or use our name or marks in a way that suggests we endorse you or are connected to you.

If you are writing about the studio and need the logo, ask us at hello@cliostudiosinc.com and we will send you the files.

Links to other sites

This site links to places we do not control, including our own product sites and the App Store. We are not responsible for the content of sites we do not operate.

No warranty

This site is provided as is. We try to keep it accurate and available, but we do not promise that it will be free of errors or always reachable. Information about products in development is our current intention, not a guarantee.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clio Studios, Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we change them in a way that matters, the date at the top will change with it. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from them will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
